Never in my lifetime have I seen such a collective eagerness to move on to another calendar year. The 2020 memes will live on forever, but m hope the pain and suffering will subside and sanity will prevail.
As soon as the election results were announced on Saturday, we exhaled a huge sigh of relief. OK. We’re ready for 2021 more than ever. It’s officially Christmas/holiday season now! Although George only makes his famous horn cookies between Thanksgiving and Christmas, he deemed this occasion exceptional enough to grant my request. I thought this was also a good time to release this song to add to the festive mood.
We wanted to create an airy, light, celebratory vibe that felt elegant yet accessible.
One thing that came to mind is how these gatherings make us meet people we would never have met otherwise, and how often these encounters change our lives forever, for the better.
It was meant for a New Year’s Eve type of ad. While it did get pitched to the client, it ultimately didn’t get the placement. It did, however, appear on a CBS TV show earlier this year.
